Jean M. Renier, 88, of Indianapolis, died Friday, July 4, at Hooverwood Nursing Home, Indianapolis.

She was a former, long-time resident of South Bend. She worked more than 35 years at Alby's Steak House, a family owned restaurant. She was the widow of John B. Renier, who preceded her in death in 1974.

Survivors include two daughters, Barbara Renier Nagy of Indianapolis and Betty Schilling of Palo Alto, Calif.; and two sons, Hank Ulveling of Chino Valley, Ariz., and Richard Ulveling of Coeur D'Alene, Idaho; a granddaughter, Stacey Nagy of Indianapolis; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. She resided with her daughter, Barbara and granddaughter, Stacey.

There will be no visitation. Graveside service will be Tuesday July 8, at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Cemetery, South Bend. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Hooverwood Jewish Home, 7001 Hooverwood Road, Indianapolis, Ind., 46260.
