Mrs. George Remmo,  aged 56, of 1123 East  Bissell street, died at 12:40 a.m., today in St. Joseph hospital after a year’s illness. She was born in South Bend, Jan. 5, 1882, and lived here all her life. As Miss Bessie Vilare, she was married here on June 25, 1905, to George Remmo, who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Clyde Remmo, of Atlanta, Ga., and Roy Remmo, of South Bend; a daughter, Mrs. Earl Johnstone, of Laporte, Ind, and a sister, Mrs. Roy C. Eger, of South Bend, and a brother, Raymond F. Vilare, of Signal Hill, Calif.

The funeral of Mrs. Bessie V. Remmo, 1123 East Bissell street, will take place at 9 a.m. Thursday in St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial park. Friends will be received in the L.H. Orvis chapel.
