13, 1919 - Dec. 24, 2009SOUTH BEND - Florence E. Reininga, 90, of South Bend, passed away at 8:25 p.m. Thursday, December 24, 2009, in Memorial Hospital. Florence was born on January 13, 1919, in LaCrosse, Wisconsin, to Edward and Emily (Dey) Schreiber. On June 23, 1945, in LaCrosse, Wisconsin, Florence (Schreiber) married Raymond C. Reininga, who passed away December 14, 1997. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Robert Schreiber. Florence is survived by a daughter, Linda Clancy of Mishawaka; son, Larry Reininga of South Bend; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Ruth Harnish of LaCrosse, Wisconsin, and Marilyn Lee of Rochester, Minnesota. Florence was a member of Peace Lutheran Church. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 29, 2009, in Peace Lutheran Church, 16791 Cleveland Road, Granger, with Rev. Steven Mischke officiating. Burial will be held at Saint Joseph Valley Memorial Park. Friends may visit with the family from 6-8 p.m. today in Welsheimer Family Funeral Home North, 17033 Cleveland Road, and one hour prior to the services on Tuesday in the church.
