Richard C. Reichow, 74, residing on South 25th Street, South Bend, passed away at 5:15 a.m. Thursday, May 3, 2001 in Memorial Hospital of South Bend. He was born February 14, 1927 in Chicago, IL and has lived here since 1951 coming from Chicago.

On July 2, 1957 in Valparaiso, IN he married Marie T. Meyer who preceded him in death on December 24, 1998. Richard is survived by two sons, Paul L. Reichow of Mishawaka; and Robert D. Wagner of Greenwood, IN. Also surviving are four grandchildren Tara Reinoehl, Kelly A. Webster, Robert Wagner Jr., & Chris Wagner; three great-grandchildren Seth Reinoehl, Jordan Reinoehl, and Raigan Webster; a sister, Dorothy Schmidt of Orland Park, IL., and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. Reichow retired in 1989 from Allied-Signal following more than 30 years of service, and worked for more than 40 years part-time for River Park Furniture. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police and served his country in the Korean Conflict.

Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 7, in Palmer Funeral Home, 2528 Mishawaka Ave., South Bend. Rev. Ed Erskin will officiate. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. The family will receive friends from 2 - 6 p.m. Sunday in the Palmer Funeral Home.
