CHARLES
A. REED III, 13, of 52944 Camellia Drive, died at 1:45 p.m. Thursday in St.
Joseph's Medical Center after an illness. He was a student at
First Baptist Christian School, Mishawaka.
Charles
was born Sept. 10, 1972, in South Bend, and was a lifelong area resident. He is
survived by a sister, CHARLENE TRERICE of Montoursville, Pa.; two brothers,
RODGER of Pontiac, Mich., and JAMES of South Bend; his parents, JANE and
Rev. CHARLES REED of South Bend, pastor of CALVARY BAPTIST Church; and paternal
grandparents, Mrs. & Mrs. CHARLES A. REED of St. Paul,
Minn.
Services
will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Calvary Baptist Church. Burial will be in St.
Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger. Friends may call from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9
p.m. Sunday in Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William St., and an hour before
the services Monday in the church.
Charles
was a member of the church and the junior high school basketball team at First
Baptist. Memorial contributions may be made to the church or the Cystic
Fibrosis Clinic at St. Joseph's Medical Center or First Baptist Christian
School, Mishawaka, 724 N. Main St., Mishawaka.
