Sister M. Agnes Claudia Redmond CSC, 96, of Saint Mary’s Convent, died about noon Thursday in her residence. She was born Jan. 14, in New York City as Claudia Redmond. She entered the Congregation of the Sisters of the Holy Cross on Jan 6, 1920; was received as a novice on Aug. 15, 1920; and professed her vows Aug. 15, 1922. She was assigned to elementary school teaching, the bookstore at St. Mary’s College, assistant tot he superior of St. Mary’s Convent, and portress at the Generalate until her retirement.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday in Christ the King Chapel of St. Mary’s Convent with burial in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery. Friends may call after 3 p.m. Sunday in the convent parlors, where a wake will be at 7 p.m.
