Rev. John J. Reddington CSC, 66, former administrator at the University of Notre Dame, who resided at Moreau Seminary, died Wednesday after recent surgery in St. Joseph Hospital.  The funeral mass will be at 3:30 p.m. Friday in Sacred Heart Chapel on the campus. Friends may call in the Corby Hall Chapel until the time of services.

A native of Anderson, Ind., he entered the Congregation of Holy Cross in 1927 and was ordained in 1934. He received his Ph. D. and A. B. degrees from Notre Dame. From 1934 to 1946 he was supervisor of maintenance at the university and the last 20 years served as purchasing agent and director of the laundry. Survivors include a sister, Sister M. Ann Rita CSC of South Bend.
