Services for Sister M. Agnes Reardon CSC, 82, of Saint Mary’s Convent, who died at 11:08 a.m. Monday in Rosary Hall Convent, will be at 4 p.m. Wednesday in the Church of Loretto at St. Mary’s with burial in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery. Friends may call after 3 p.m. today in St. Mary’s Convent.

She was born Catherine Mary Reardon on Aug. 29, 1907 in Joliett, Ill. She entered the Congregation of the Sister of the Holy Cross at St. Mary’s Jan. 1, 1927, coming from Minooke, Ill. She was received as a novice Aug. 15, 1927 and took her final vows Aug. 15, 1929.Her assignment included schools in San Francisco, Valparaiso, Michigan City, Plymouth, Elkhart and Holy Cross School in South Bend. She also was assigned to schools in Woodstock, Ill.; Evergreen Park, Ill.; and Davenport, Iowa. In 1974 she was assigned to parish visiting and Harvest House Project of Holy Cross Parish. She also served in the Communication Office at St. Mary’s Convent.
