Maurice Ranschaert

January 17, 1904 - March 20, 1996

SOUTH BEND – Maurice Ranschaert, 92, of South Lake Street, died at 11am Wednesday in his home.  Mr. Ranschaert retired from AM General Corp. and was a former Studebaker Corp. employee.

He was born January 17, 1904, in Westdorpe Holland, and lived in South Bend for 87 years.  On February 21, 1925, in South Bend, he married Elizabeth Kovatch.  She died in 1979.  He is survived by a son, Robert of South Bend; four grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.  A son, Maurice, died in 1991.  He was a member of BK Club, Mishawaka and Volkskring.

Services will be at 10am Saturday in Corpus Christi Catholic Church.  Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.  Friends may call from 4 to 8pm Friday in St Joseph Funeral Home, where a rosary will be said at 4pm.  Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association.
