Frederick Ranschaert

January 6, 1880 - November 29, 1949

Frederick Ranschaert, aged 69, of 529 South Pulaski Street, died at 3:05am today in Memorial Hospital.

Born in Holland January 6, 1880, he came to South Bend from that country forty-three years ago. He was a retired Singer Manufacturing Company employee. Surviving are the widow, Prudence; two sons, Raymond and Alfred, all of South Bend; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Dhoore, of South Bend, and Mrs. Anna Durein, of Holland; two brothers, Alphonse and Frank Dhane, both of South Bend, and three grandchildren.

Friends may call after 7pm today in St Joseph Funeral Chapel. A requiem high Mass will be chanted at 9am Saturday in Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Thomas Street by Rev. Edmond Philippe, pastor. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.
