Suzanne G. Ransberger

May 10, 1935 - March 3, 1998

WHITE PIGEON - Suzanne G. (Hobbs) Ransberger, 62, residing on US 12 East, White Pigeon, Mich., formerly of Osceola, Ind., passed away at 6:23 p.m. on Tuesday, March 3, in Three Rivers Hospital, Three Rivers, Mich.

She was co-owner with her husband Ron of Union Wholesale, Inc.

Born on May 10, 1935, in Mishawaka, Ind., to the late Edgar and Esther Hobbs, she had lived in White Pigeon since 1976, moving there from Osceola.

On March 24, 1951, in Osceola, she married Ronald E. Ransberger, who survives.

She is also survived by two daughters, Becky Holt and Cynthia Weisweaver, both of Osceola; two sons, Ronald Ransberger, Jr., of Cassopolis, Mich., and Steven Ransberger of Middlebury, Ind.; five grandchildren, Jaime Holt, Jim Holt, Jenny Exum, Rob Weisweaver and Bryan Weisweaver; two great-grandchildren, MacKenzie Weisweaver and Keighla Exum; a sister, Jill Farris of Florence, Ala.; and by a brother, Jack Hobbs of Augusta, Ala.

She was a former member of the Osceola United Methodist Church.

Services for Mrs. Ransberger will be at 2 p.m. on Friday in the Palmer Funeral Home, 1109 Lincolnway West, Osceola. Rev. Sam Boys, associate pastor of the Osceola United Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today in the Palmer Funeral Home.

Contributions may be offered in Mrs. Ransberger's memory to the American Cancer Society
