Jane A. Radlicki, 86, formerly of Eclipse Place, South Bend, Ind., passed away at Countryside Place Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Mishawaka, Ind., at 5:25 a.m. on Dec. 4, 1996. Jane was born in South Bend on May 31, 1910. Following graduation in 1928, from what was then South Bend High School, she worked in the Bureau of Motor Vehicles in Indianapolis, Ind., for several years before retiring from Allied Signal after 35 years of service.

 

Jane is survived by a sister, Clara (Chester) Chandler of South Bend; two nieces, Mary (Bruce) Woodcox of Mishawaka and Susan Hartman of Eatontown, N.J.; and four nephews, Paul (Carolyn) Chandler of Avon Lake, Ohio, Henry (Mary Ann) Chandler of Granger, Ind., Dennis (Cindy) Chandler of Osceola, Ind., and David (Sandy) Podelwitz of South Bend. Two sisters, Hildegarde Woltman and Julie Di Grazia; a brother, Tom Radlicki; and two step brothers, David and Joseph Podelwitz, all preceded her in death. Miss Radlicki was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, and the Polish Roman Catholic Union of America, Society 850.

 

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 6, in St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, with Rev. Terry Place officiating. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today in Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, South Bend, where a parish vigil service will be held at 3:30 p.m.
