SOUTH BEND - Ethel M. Pishnoff, 92, passed away on Friday, December 26, 2008, at 11:20 p.m. in Miller's Merry Manor, Wakarusa Ethel was born on July 30, 1916 in Nappanee, IN, to the late Albert and Anna (Rapp) Hepler. On November 18, 1967, she married Henry Pishnoff, he preceded her in death on September 1, 1986. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Delbert, Oscar and Elmer; and by her sister, Mabel Monesmith. She is survived by her two children, Pat (Redgy) Bellman and Doug (Cindy) Warren both of Nappanee; special friend, Ervin Kominkiewicz; four grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Ethel retired from Kreamo Bakery in 1978 after 20 years of service. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, American Legion #357 Auxiliary, D.A.V. Auxiliary and the Harvest House. She also enjoyed playing Euchre.

 

Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, December 30, 2008, in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Road, South Bend, where a Rosary will be prayed at 4:30 p.m. A funeral liturgy will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, December 31, 2008, in the funeral home. Entombment will follow in Resurrection Gardens in St. Joseph Cemetery, South Bend.
