Joseph A. Pilger
Joseph A. Pilger, aged 38, of 1522 Bulla avenue, died at 5:50 p.m. Saturday of
a heart attack in his home.  Born in South Bend, Dec 5, 1906, he spent his
entire life here.  On July 31, 1932, he married Miss Helen Wolf, who
survives.  Other survivors include two children, David and Karen Sue, at home;
two brothers Frank, Jr. and George and two sisters, Mrs. Mary Karaffi and Mrs.
John Kish, all of South Bend.  Friends may call in the residence until funeral
services there at 9 a.m. Wednesday. Right Rev. Msgr. John Sabo, pastor of Our
Lady of Hungary Roman Catholic church, will officiate.  Burial will be in
Highland cemetery.
