GRANGER – Sandra Kay Pilat, 46, of Dublin, Ohio, formerly oif Granger, died Saturday in Riverside (Ohio) Methodist Hospital after an illness. Mrs. Pilat was employed at Riverside Methodist Hospital. She was formerly employed in Mishawaka as an elementary school teacher and for the US Department of Labor Bureau  of Labor Statistics. She was born Nov. 16, 1946 in Mishawaka and moved to Dublin in 1989, going there from Granger

On Feb 21, 1970 she married Michael J. Pilat. He survives with three sons, Aaron M. Adam J. and Benjamin A. All at home; a sister, Marie Macri of South Bend; two brothers, Dr. Paul A. and Dr. James V. Macri; and her mother, Rose Mary Jane (Alo) Macri of Mishawaka. She received her bachelors degree from Ball State University and her master degree from Indiana University.

Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Saint Brendan Church, Hillard, Ohio. Burial will take place at a later date. There will be no visitation. Memorial contributions made be made to the church.
