SOUTH BEND - Maribelle E. Pietrzak, 70, of Tyris Street, died at 8:25 p.m. Saturday in her home. Mrs. Pietrzak retired from Travelers Insurance Co. She was born May 19, 1926, in Danville, Ill., and lived in South Bend most of her life.

On May 20, 1949, in South Bend, as Maribell Hurley, she married Frank J. Pietrzak. He survives with a daughter, Jeanne Pietrzak of South Bend; a sister, Jeanne Hurley Gastineau of Chapel Hill, N.C.; and three brothers, Charles T. Hurley and Kenneth R. Hurley Sr., both of South Bend, and Ronald H. Hurley of Mishawaka. She was a member of Ladies Sewing Circle of Monson Chapel, served as a Sunday school teacher and was a member of Travelers Retirees.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the church. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in St. Joseph Funeral Home and one hour before services on Wednesday in the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
