Funeral services for Anthony Piechocki, 57, who died at 11:20 p.m. Friday in his home at 54857 Ind. 123, after an 18 month illness, will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday in Holy Family Catholic Church, Rev. Joseph Lesniak, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in St. Joseph‘s Cemetery. An employee of the Studebaker Corp., he was born in Shamokin, Pa., on March 23, 1905. On Sept. 9, 1925, in St. Casimir’s Catholic Church he was married to Genevieve Nowicki, who survives. He was a member of the St. Joseph’s Young Men’s Society and the United Auto Workers Local 5. Also surviving are two brothers, Vincent of South Bend and Joseph of Edwardsburg, Mich.; four sisters, Mrs. Anna Kajzer, Mrs. Stella Matela, Mrs. Sophie Peck, and Evelyn Piechocki, all of South Bend; and his mother, Mrs. Victoria Piechocki of South Bend. Friends may call after 4 p.m. today in the St. Joseph Funeral Home, where the rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. today.
