OBITUARIES

NELSON P PETERSON

Nelson P Peterson, age 74, one of the city's well known retired farmers and a resident of this vicinity for 53 years, died at 6:30 o'clock this morning at the family residence, 621 East Battell street. He had been in poor health from a complication of dieases for a number of years.

He was born in Denmark, Nov. 23, 1850. He was married to Miss Anna Rose Kreutz 46 years old. She survives with five daughters, Mrs. Ray Wallick, Mrs. George Caskey, Mrs. Ray Kearns, Mrs. George Doty, Mishawaka, and Mrs. John Kraus, eight miles northeast of the city. Also 18 grandchildren survive. He leaves two brothers, Hans Peterson, Mishawaka, and Andrew Peterson, Denmark. Four sisters also live in Denmark.

Mr. Peterson was a lifelong member of St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran church, from where the funeral will be held Monday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Burial will be in the city cemetery.

The funeral of Nelson P Peterson was held this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from St. Peter's Evangeical Lutheran church, Rev A A Fenner officiating. Burial was in the city cemetery
