SOUTH BEND - Dora M. Pease, 74, of South Bend, formerly of West Jefferson Blvd., Mishawaka, passed away at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Mishawaka, at 1:22 am on Wednesday, following an illness. She was born on August 12th, 1938 in Mishawaka to Fred and Margaret (Raugh) Cook. In June of 1960, she married Jack E. Pease. He died in 1985. She also was preceded in death by her companion of 24 years, Richard Soule Sr., who died April 16, 2008. Also preceding her in death where her mother and father, along with a brother, Glen Cook, and a stepson, Gregory Lee Soule. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Ousley of South Bend, and two stepdaughters, Rita Ann (Arthur) Gibson of Mishawaka and Linda Runyon of Wolcottville, Indiana. Also surviving are two stepsons, Norman L. (Cindy) Soule of Richland Hills, Texas and Richard H. (Carla) Soule Jr. of Mishawaka. Two grandchildren, Jacqueline (Luke) Bailer and Thomas Ousley Jr., both of Angola, Indiana; two great grandchildren, Dylan Bailer and Gabrielle Bailer; two sisters, twin Donna (Ronald) Hough of Mishawaka, IN and Betty Jean Brown of Plymouth, IN, also survive.

Dora was a member of the Mishawaka High School Alumni Association, the Mishawaka Moose and was a parishioner of St. Monica Catholic Church, Mishawaka. She loved to sing and was a member of the Singing Cook Twins back in the 1950's and was featured on the Hoosier Favorites Television Show. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Monica Catholic Church on Friday at 11:00 am. Friends will be received from 4 until 8 pm on Thursday at Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 North Main St., Mishawaka and also one hour prior to the Mass on Friday at the church. Burial will follow the Mass at Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka.
