SOUTH BEND - Elizabeth Nieman, 91, of South Fellows Street, died at 2:30 a.m. Saturday in Fountainview Nursing Home. Mrs. Nieman was born Aug. 19, 1903, in Hamburg, Germany, and came to South Bend in 1966 from Cleveland.

On March 5, 1931, in Hamburg, she married Fritz W. Nieman. He survives with a daughter, Donna Flint of South Bend; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a sister, Grete Huebbe of Hamburg. She was a member of D.A.N.K. German Club and a charter member of Forever Learning Institute.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Grace United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Memorial contributions may be made to the church or Northern Indiana Chapter of Alzheimer's Disease and Related Disorders. Forest G. Hay Funeral Home, 1201 S. Michigan St., is in charge of arrangements.
