Taryn Lanay Nicodemus, 20, of Day Road,
Mishawaka, Ind., died at 6:53 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 7, in St. Joseph
Community Hospital Emergency Room, Mishawaka. Taryn was born
March 3, 1976, in Mishawaka to Ronald D. and Janalyce K.
Nicodemus, both of whom survive. She is also survived by two
sisters, Taryll Lynn Nicodemus of Mishawaka, and Trysha Lea
Miller and her husband Robert P. Miller, both of Nappannee, Ind.;
her maternal grandparents, Evangeline and Charles Stouder of
Osceola, Ind.; and her paternal grandparents, Charles and Irene
Nicodemus of Elkhart, Ind. Her grandmother, Audrey M. Nicodemus,
preceded her in death in 1987.
Taryn was a junior at Manchester College,
studying elementary education. She was a 1994 graduate of Penn
High School. Taryn was a member of Osceola Church of the
Brethren, Osceola, Ind. She was a four year member of the Chamber
Choir and a member of the Concert Choir at Penn High School.
Taryn was a member of the Acappella Choir and The Entertainers at
Manchester College. She also served on the Regional Youth
Conference Committee at Manchester College. She was employed by
the Childrens Center of First Presbyterian Church, South Bend.
Taryn's life was a blessing to all who knew
and loved her.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 10,
in Osceola Church of the Brethren, 58362 Beech Road, Osceola,
Ind., 46561. Burial will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens,
Osceola. Officiating will be Rev. Donald Carroll. Friends may
call from 4 to 8 p.m. today in the Bubb Funeral Chapel North,
3910 N. Main St., Mishawaka, Ind. Memorial contributions may be
made to the Osceola Church of the Brethren.
