Sept 14, 1948 - May 8, 2010MISHAWAKA - Mr. Willie Newborne Jr., was born on September 14, 1948. He passed away on Saturday, May 8, 2010. He pursued a career in accounting and went on to work for the Illinois Public School System, from which he later retired. He was preceded in death by his father, Willie Sr.; his mother, Ester; and brother, Carl and sister-in-law, Ida Newborne. He leaves to cherish his memory a loving wife, Vivian Newborne; a niece, Zelma Newborne; a nephew, Carol (Raquel) Newborne; and a host of cousins, including Rosa (Chris) Hudson. Services will be held on Saturday, May 15 at 11 am at Leak Funeral Home, 18400 S. Pulaski Road, Country Club Hills, IL 60478. Friends may call from 6 pm to 10 pm Friday at the funeral home.
