Lorrene F. Nemeth

SOUTH BEND - Lorrene Francis Nemeth, 71, of South Bend, passed away during the early morning hours on April 6th in Miller's Merry Manor of New Carlisle. Lorrene was born in New Carlisle on September 6, 1938, to the late Andrew and Agnes (Pedtijean) Spitz. On May 4, 1963, she married Ronald J. Nemeth. Ronald preceded her in death on April 24, 2004. Lorrene was a past leader in the St. Joseph County 4-H. Lorrene is survived by her three children, Dorrene (Donald) Jozwiak of Rolling Prairie, IN, Gerald "Jerry" Nemeth of South Bend and Susan (James Jennings) Nemeth of South Bend. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Debrah Jozwiak, Michael Jozwiak and Brandon Jennings; two sisters, Margaret (Jerry) Glosser and LaVern (Gene) Barczykowski, both of South Bend; and two brothers, Andrew Spitz of South Bend and Peter (Arlene) Spitz of Plymouth, IN. She was preceded in death by one sister, Harriet Miller. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 8th, in the Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 N. Main St., Mishawaka, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Friday in the church. A Rosary service will be held at the funeral home at 3:30 p.m. Thursday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Christ the King Catholic Church on Friday, April 9th, at 11 a.m. Burial is to follow at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park in Granger. Memorial contributions may be made in Lorrene's name to either the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to Christ the King Catholic Church.
