SOUTH BEND - Joe Nemeth, 77, passed away on Sunday, February 7th, in Memorial Hospital. Joseph was born in South Bend to the late Joe Nemeth Sr. and Regina (Kroll) Nemeth. He is survived by his two sons, Doug and Scott; and by his four grandchildren, Jacob, Zachary, Nicholas and Annabel. A graduate of Central Catholic High School, he served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a pattern-maker and machine repairman by trade and retired from Allied Signal. He enjoyed golfing and fishing. A memorial Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 16, 2010, at 10:30 a.m. in the Cathedral of St. Matthew. Cremation and burial at St. Joseph Cemetery will take place at a later date. ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Road, is assisting the family.
