SOUTH BEND - Jo Elizabeth Nemeth, 67, of 1807 E. Madison St., died at 2:27 p.m. Thursday in Memorial Hospital after an illness. Mrs. Nemeth was employed as a file clerk by Teachers Credit Union. She was born May 14, 1926, in South Bend and was a lifelong area resident.
On Sept. 26, 1946, in South Bend, as Jo Elizabeth Nemeth, she married Frank L. Nemeth. He survives with a daughter, Barbara Jo Bernier of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; a son, Frank M. of Colorado Springs, Colo.; four grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Ozdyck and Julia Nemeth, both of South Bend; and two brothers, Leslie Nemeth of South Bend and John P. Nemeth of Lyons, Ind.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday in Kaniewski Funeral Home, where a parish wake will be at 5 p.m.
