Rosella Nelson
Sept. 12, 1935 - May 7, 2001

Rosella Nelson, 65, of Smallwood St. in South Bend, IN, passed away Monday, May 7, 2001, in her home after an illness.

Mrs. Nelson was born September 12, 1935, in Niles, MI to the late Herbert and Verla (Dudley) Coultas. She was one of Jehovah's Witnesses and a member of the Roseland Congregation.

Mrs. Nelson was employed by Ridgedale Nursing Home as a certified nursing assistant and later at South Bend Controls, Inc.

On May 19, 1967, as Rosella Sherwood, she married Ivan F. Nelson who preceded her in death on April 27, 2001.

Surviving is a daughter, Debra Migdaleck of Goshen, IN; two sons, Jack Sherwood Jr., with wife Carolyn of South Bend, Jerry Sherwood, with wife Deborah Ruth of South Bend; and a daughter-in-law, Debra Ann Sherwood of South Bend; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a half sister, Anita McDonald of Dowagiac, MI; and a half brother, Robert Coultas of South Bend.

A memorial services will be held today, May 12 at 1 pm. at the Roseland Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses on Laurel Rd. Cremation has taken place. The KANIEWSKI Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Dr., South Bend, IN is in charge of arrangements.
