Sister Mary Ursula CSC, of St. Mary’s died Sunday afternoon in St. Joseph Hospital, South Bend, after a long illness. She was born Margaret Ann Neis in 1896 in Galveston, Tex. She was educated in Galveston and at the Academy of Holy Cross in Washington DC. And entered th Sisters of the Holy Cross Congregation in 1905, receiving the habit in 1905 and making her vows in 1911. She spenyt many years as a music teacher in schools in California, Texas, Washington DC, and in Indiana.

A requiem mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday and the funeral rites will follow in the motherhouse at St. Mary’d with burial in the community cemetery.
