Jennie Kathryn Neff, 89, residing on Vistula Road, Mishawaka, Ind., passed away of natural causes at 5:30 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 9, at her home. Mrs. Neff was a homemaker, born on Nov. 24, 1908, in Mishawaka, to the late George F. and Carrie Mae Laing. She had been a resident of Mishawaka all of her life.

On June 15, 1929, in Goshen, Ind., she married Don B. Neff, who preceded her in death on March 23, 1985. She is survived by two daughters, Donna (James) Reinholtz of Osceola, Ind., and Jennie Penrose of Mishawaka; four granddaughters, Betsy (Steve) Sudhoff of Warsaw, Ind., Linda (Joseph) Schrader of Mishawaka, Sally (Joseph) Zdziebko of Osceola and Mari Lisa Conner of Mishawaka; and by six great-grandchildren, Kathryn and Mark Sudhoff, Matthew and Anne Zdziebko, Samuel Schrader and Ryan Conner. Mrs. Neff was a member of the First United Methodist Church, the Osceola Historical Society and the Fellowship Club of Mishawaka.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday at the Chapel of the Good Shepherd in the First United Methodist Church, Mishawaka. Rev. Don Carpenter will officiate. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at the Palmer Funeral Home, 1109 Lincolnway West, Osceola. Memorial contributions may be made to the church or to the charity of donor's choice.
