Anthony T. Nasco

EDWARDSBURG - Anthony T. "Tony" Nasco, 71, passed away suddenly on Friday, June 29, in St. Anthony Memorial Hospital, Michigan City, IN. Tony was born on March 4, 1936, in Mishawaka, as the son of Tony and Christine (Ellis) Nasco. He was preceded in death by his parents.

 

On September 15, 1957, in Mishawaka, he married the former Sally Robinson. Surviving Tony are his loving wife, Sally; a son, Timothy (Stacey) Nasco; daughters, Charmayne (Donald) Daly and Suzanne (Mike) Young, all of Edwardsburg, MI; seven grandchildren, Nicole and Alyssa Nasco, Courtney and Marshall Daly, Michael and Bobby (Sue Ellen), and Anthony Young; and a sister, Sandra Nasco.

 

Tony graduated from Mishawaka High School in 1956. He was a member of First United Methodist Church, Mishawaka, and the DeMolay's. He was a past president of the Indiana Towing and Wrecker Association and was a current member of the Cass County Planning Commission. Tony owned and operated Central Auto Pool and Atni Truck Equipment, two separate businesses at the same location in South Bend, IN. After dissolving Atni Truck Equipment, he continued to operate Central Auto Pool while at the same time owning and operating Eagle Lake Marine, Edwardsburg, MI, retiring in 2005 from both businesses. He enjoyed collecting antique fire trucks. Tony was a United States Army veteran. He loved to work and spend time with his family. Tony was a loving caring, hardworking husband, father, grandfather and provider.

 

Family and friends may visit on Thursday, July 5, in the Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home, with Rev. Dwayne Dollgener officiating. Memorial contributions may be made in Tony's name to First United Methodist Church, 201 E.
