Mrs. Martha M. Nagy, 73, of 2319 S. Fellows, died at 9:40 p.m. Friday in St. Joseph’s Medical Center after a two-week illness. Born on March 28, 1909, in South Bend, she was a lifetime area resident. On June 9, 1934, in South Bend, she married Alex John Nagy, who died in 1978. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Phyllis C. Elder of Fort Lauderdale, Fla. and Mrs. Gerald (Charlotte) Kajzer of South Bend; a son, Donald A. of South Bend; four grandchildren; two sisters, Florence Reiner and Mrs. Joseph (Marie) Kramer, both of South Bend; and a brother, Carl Griman of South Bend.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Matthew Cathedral, Bishop Joseph R. Crowley, rector, will officiate. Burial will be in Southlawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Guisinger Colonial Chapel where a rosary will be recited at 4:30 p.m. Sunday.
