SOUTH BEND – Joseph Lloyd Mossey, 82, of Mesa, Ariz. Died at 4:30 a.m. Wednesday in Mi Casa Care Center, Mesa. He retired as a design engineer at Bendix Corp. after 39 years. He was also a professional artist. He was born July 26, 1910 in South Bend. He moved to Arizona in 1986. His wife Mildred survives with a daughter Rosemarie Owens; a son Richard and a grandchild.

Services were a 2 p.m. Friday in Meldrum Mortuary, Mesa. Cremation followed. Memorial contributions may be made to the church or to the American Heart Association.

Editor: He married Mary L. Schalliol 10-1-1937 in Mishawaka, She died 12-22-1985.
