MISHAWAKA - Doris M. Mortimore, 66, passed away on
Wednesday, December 10th, in Saint Joseph Regional Medical
Center, South Bend. Doris was born on May 14, 1942, in Mishawaka,
to Clarence E, and Esther M. (Washburn) Miller. She
was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, a brother and a
sister. Surviving Doris are her children, Doris M Flowers
of Garrett, IN, Lori (Blaine) Plencner of Mishawaka, Carol
Mortimore of Mishawaka, Jerry Flowers Sr. of South Bend, Dale Pasternack
of Florida and Richard Mortimore of Mishawaka; 10 grandchildren
and 14 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Shirley McLean
of Nappanee, IN, and Beverly Kollars of Buchanan, MI.
Doris loved playing BINGO. She had a big heart and would open the
door to anyone in need. She had a very long and loving friendship
with Louise Hambright for 45 years.
Visitation for family and friends will be from 10:00 a.m. to noon today, Dec. 17, in the Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka, with funeral services at noon in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hahn Funeral Home to help the family with funeral expenses. The family would like to thank all of those who have donated.
