Richard L. Morrison, 74, of Navarre, Fla., formerly of South Bend, Ind., died Wednesday, Sept. 19, in Gulf Breeze Hospital, Gulf Breeze, Fla.

Richard retired from the Bendix Corporation as a salary employment manager for 32 years. Richard was born Nov. 25, 1926, in Delphi, Ind., to Lewis and Rose Morrison, who preceded him in death.

Richard was also preceded in death by his first wife, Margaret (Millea) Morrison on Nov. 14, 1975. On April 12, 1980, in Michigan City, Ind., he married Suzanne Guse, who survives. He is also survived by a daughter, Marlana Good of Hazel Green, Ala.; four sons, Kevin L. Morrison of Granger, Ind., Michael J. Morrison of Sebastian, Fla., Daniel Guse of Fort Wayne, Ind., and William Guse of Michigan City, Ind.; and by nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Richard was a member of South Bend Elks Lodge 235, Bendix Executive Retirement Club, Long Lake Raiders (Union, Mich.), Holley by the Sea owners association (Navarre, Fla.), and was a United States Navy veteran.

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 26, at Highland Cemetery, South Bend. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. The HICKEY Funeral Home, South Bend, 289-1000, is in charge of arrangements.
