SOUTH BEND - Rev. William T. Morrison, CSC, 81, of Holy Cross Brothers' House, died Saturday evening in his residence. Rev. Morrison was born Sept. 28, 1913, in New York City.
He entered the novitiate on July 1, 1932; pronounced his first vows on July 2, 1933; and professed his final vows on Aug. 16, 1936. He was ordained to the priesthood Sept. 15, 1941. During his 54-year career in education, both as a teacher and admissions administrator, he served at University of Portland and Columbia Preparatory School, Portland, Ore.; St. Edward's University, Austin, Texas; University of Notre Dame; and Notre Dame High School for Boys, Niles, Ill. He also served in hospitals, primarily Lutheran General Hospital, Chicago.
Services will be at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday in Sacred Heart Basilica. Burial will be in Community Cemetery. Friends may call after 3:30 p.m. today in Moreau Seminary, where a wake will be at 7:30 p.m.
