Oliva Moriconi

Mishawaka – Services for Oliva Moriconi, 87, of Alabama Street, who died about 10 a.m. Thursday in her home will be at noon Monday In St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday in Hahn Funeral Home, where a parish rosary will be said at 4 p.m.

Mrs. Moriconi was born Aug. 27, 1904 in Altari, Italy, and lived in Mishawaka since 1929. On May 15, 1924, in Italy, as Oliva Gizzi, she married Angelo Moriconi. He died Feb. 12, 1974. She is survived by a niece, Virginia Zellers of Mishawaka; and two nephews, Emilio “Guy” Gizzi of South Bend, and Brother Eugene Gizzi, CFA, of San Jose, Calif. She was a member of the church Rosary Society and DeAmici Auxiliary.
