MISHAWAKA - Owen D. Morgan Sr., 67, of Newburg Drive, died at 1:37
a.m. today in St. Joseph's Medical Center, South Bend. Mr. Morgan
retired in 1986 from Uniroyal Plastics Co. after 30 years of
service. He was born July 26, 1927, in St. Joseph County. He is
survived by a daughter, Pamela K. Sheppard of Argos; two sons,
Owen D. ''Butch'' Jr. of South Bend and Thomas M. of LaPaz; five
grandchildren; his father, Jack W. of South Bend; and two
brothers, Jack E. of Mishawaka and Robert of Fremont, Calif. He
was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 350, American
Legion Post 161, Polish National Alliance Lodge 83, South Bend,
American Bowling Congress and Chippewa Bowl Senior Fun Club, and
a veteran of the Korean War.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in McGann Funeral
Home, 2313 E. Edison Road, South Bend. Memorial contributions may
be made to Hospice of St. Joseph County Inc.
