SOUTH BEND - Carolyn Moran, 57, of Fawn Ridge Court, died at 6:12 p.m. Tuesday in Memorial Hospital after an illness. Mrs. Moran was born Aug. 30, 1937, in Joliet, Ill., and lived in South Bend since 1967.

On June 20, 1959, in Plainfield, Ill., as Carolyn Bourrie, she married Gerald Moran. He survives with three daughters, Margaret Mitchell and Joan Moran, both of Maryland, and Nancy Glaser of Fort Thomas Ky.; four sons, Patrick, John, and Joseph, all of South Bend, and James of St. Joseph; 12 grandchildren; her parents, Catherine and De Witt Bourrie of Plainfield; and a sister, Mary Kay Cooper of Manhattan, Ill. She was a former 4-H leader for Greene Township.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today in St. Joseph Funeral Home, where a parish rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the church.
