MISHAWAKA - Betty Moran, 88, passed away of natural causes
at Fountainview Nursing Home in Mishawaka, IN. She was born
January 4, 1919, in Indianapolis, IN. Betty attended William
& Mary College, then became an avid traveler and golfer. She
worked for TWA in her early years, then for the University of
Notre Dame's Athletic & Convocation Center for many years.
During that time, she helped start the Notre Dame Women's Golf
League in 1973.
Betty is survived by her nieces and nephews,
Kathleen R White of Edwardsburg, MI., Patricia M Reddy
of Edwardsburg, MI., Dennis C Reddy of South Bend, IN., Mary
Reddy of Kalamazoo, MI and Anne Dolembo of Michigan City,
IN. Betty was preceded in death by her sister, Hannah (Pat)
Louise Reddy. Betty has donated her body to the Indiana
University Direct Donor Program.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday,
January 19, from 1 to 3 p.m., in Christ the King Lutheran Church,
17195 Cleveland Road in South Bend. A display of photos and
memories will be on view at 1:00. At 1:30 friends are invited to
share their history of Betty. A service will be held at 2 p.m.
