MISHAWAKA - Mr. Spencer Dean Moore, 44, of Mishawaka, IN, passed away on Monday, July 14, 2008, at 6:23 a.m. in Memorial Hospital of South Bend following a brief illness. Spencer was born on March 7, 1964, in South Bend, IN, the son of Arthur and Odessa Moore Sr. Spencer confessed his faith in Christ at an early age and was raised in a loving, Christian home. He was a 1982 graduate of LaSalle High School where he was a track star who went to the Indiana High Schools State Finals for low hurdles. Spencer worked as a track coach for SBCSC for a short time before becoming an employee of the U.S. Postal Service. He retired from USPS in April 2008 after 28 years of service. Those left to cherish his memory are his parents, Arthur and Odessa Moore Sr.; two brothers, Arthur (Mary Lou) Moore Jr. of Minot, ND, and Gary Moore of South Bend; four sisters, Edna (Thomas R.) Moore, Cynthia Nicholson, Sylvia Moore and Alesia Moore of South Bend; along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The funeral service is Saturday, July 19, at noon in Cobb Funeral Home, 3535 S. Michigan St., with visitation one hour before the service. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery.
