Guy Earl Moore, 96, of South Bend,
passed away at 1:55 p.m. on Wednesday, March 1, in Cardinal
Nursing Home. Guy was born on December 10, 1909, in Wolcott,
Ind., to Guy and Esther Catherine (Wingard) Moore. His
parents, a son, Lloyd, brothers, Ray and John, and sisters, Hazel
Collins and Lillian Stove, have all preceded him in
death.
On August 1, 1935, Guy married Agnes, who
passed away in November 1994. Guy is survived by daughter, Judy
(Larry) Denton of Granger; grandchildren, Melissa, Tara
and Tiffany Moore; and two great-grandchildren.
Guy was a setup man and union steward at
Bendix for 32 years before retiring in 1973. He enjoyed playing
cards, repairing TV sets, and helping others. He was a loving
father and grandfather to his family.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. today,
March 3, in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Road, South
Bend. A service will take place at 6 p.m. today in the funeral
home. Burial will take place at a later date at Sumption Prairie
Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the National M.S.
Society.
