Nov. 27, 1949 - May 21, 2010MISHAWAKA - Linda Kay Mocaby, 60, passed away Friday, May 21, at 8:05 a.m. in Unity Medical Surgical Hospita,l Mishawaka. Linda was born November 27, 1949, in South Bend, as the daughter of Charles and Helen Shields. On October 8, 1994, in South Bend, she married Leslie Howard Mocaby, who preceded her in death on May 13, 2003. She was also preceded in death by her father, Charles Shields. Linda is survived by her mother, Helen Shields of Bremen; and three sisters, Donna Newcomer of Mishawaka and Janet (Roger) Grimm of Nappanee, and Sharon Steele of Lake Havasu City, AZ; and by a brother, Jack (Pam) Shields of Granger. Linda was employed by AM General in Mishawaka for nearly 39 years. Friends may call Tuesday from 4 to 6 p.m. in the Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka. Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. in the funeral home, with Rev. Neil Wannecott officiating. Cremation will follow services.
