SOUTH BEND - Services for Addlee Mitchell, 76, of 1031 N. Georgiana Ave., who died about 7 p.m. Saturday in the home of her daughter on North Johnson Street, will be at 1 p.m. Friday in Progressive Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. Friends may call one hour before services in the church. Alford's Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Mitchell retired from the University of Notre Dame. She was born Feb. 22, 1919, in Memphis, Tenn., and lived in South Bend for 60 years. She is survived by two daughters, Avis Simpson and Delores Chambliss, both of South Bend; two sons, Esker Lavondale Golden of Memphis and Michael Rhodes of South Bend; eight grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. She was a member of the church.
