MISHAWAKA - Will A. "Bill" Miller, 90, of Mishawaka, passed away on Monday, March 15, 2010 at the Hospice House in Elkhart, IN. Bill was born on April 4, 1919 in Ravenden, AR. To the late Will A. and Estella (Pickett) Miller, Sr. On December 24, 1951, Bill married the former Criscilla Faye Dixon in Jeffersonville, IN. Bill and Faye shared fifty-nine wonderful years of marriage together. Survivors include his wife Faye and their two daughters, Lucy (David) Bryant of Elkhart, IN and Bobbie (Fred) Gardner of Mishawaka, IN. Bill was a loving and caring grandfather to four grandchildren, Lori (Thomas) Richter, of Elkhart, IN., Adrianne (Robert) Foster of Yellville, AR., Matthew (Ashley) Bryant of Elkhart, IN and James Gardner of Mishawaka, IN. Bill was also a great-grandfather to seven great-grandchildren. A son, William Neil Miller who passed away in 2008 and grandson, Michael Bryant who passed away in 1982, along with two brothers Herbert and Glenn Miller and two sisters, Ressie Mitchell and Jessie Alexander preceded Bill in death. Bill proudly served his country in the United States Army in the 37th Division in the Pacific Theater during W.W.II receiving an Honorable discharge as a Sergeant in 1945. Bill retired from the Rail Road as a Lineman after thirty-two years of service. Bill's hobbies were fishing, hunting and gardening. Bill's major enjoyment was his family and grandchildren whom he loved and cherished most of all. The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 18, 2010 from 2-4 and 6-8pm at the Bubb Funeral Chapel 3910 N. Main St., Mishawaka, IN. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Friday, March 19, 2010 at the funeral home with Pastor Tim Garner officiating. Burial will follow the service at the Olive Cemetery in Wakarusa, IN.
