GRANGER - Monroe M. Miller, 83, of Anderson Road, died at 7 p.m. Monday in St. Joseph's Medical Center, South Bend. Mr. Miller retired in 1977 from Volney Felt Mills, Mishawaka, after 30 years of service. He was born Dec. 23, 1911, in Plymouth.
On Aug. 22, 1931, in Mishawaka, he married Catherine M. Zehring. She died Aug. 23, 1987. He is survived by a daughter, Madeline M. Menzie of Mishawaka; a son, John V. of South Bend; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and two sisters, Beatrice Doktor of Osceola and Evelyn Dukes of Mishawaka. She was a member of Christian Center, South Bend.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main St., Mishawaka. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
