SOUTH BEND - Michael L. Miller, 55, of Magazine, Ark., formerly of South Bend, died at 6:30 a.m. Sunday in Sparks Regional Medical Center, Fort Smith, Ark., after an illness. Mr. Miller was employed as a tool and die maker in Van Buren, Ark. He was born Oct. 13, 1940, in South Bend. On Nov. 22, 1980, in Eldorado, Ark., he married Ella Cotten. She survives with a daughter, Michelle Megyese of Mishawaka; a son, Shawn of South Bend; two grandchildren; his mother, Goldia Miller of Little Rock, Miss.; and a brother, Dennis C. of Little Rock.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Forest G. Hay Funeral Home, 1201 S. Michigan St. Burial will be in Southlawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
