Harold T. Miller,
75, of 1148 Cleveland Ave., a local attorney, died at 11:15pm
Wednesday in Memorial Hospital after an illness of one week.
He was born on September
12, 1897, in Tipton IA, and had lived in South Bend since 1922,
coming from Valparaiso. On February 7, 1933, in Plymouth,
he married Margaret Gustafson, who survives. Other
survivors are a stepmother, Mrs. Bertha Miller of South Bend.
Friends may call
after 3pm Friday in the Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N William
St., where arrangements are pending. He was a member o the
St Joseph County Bar Assn, the Elks Lodge and the Sports Car Club
of America.
Contributions may
be made to the Elks Building fund or the Heart Fund of St Joseph
County. He had been in private practice in South Bend for
51 years and was active until his recent illness.
