SOUTH BEND - Betty June Miller, 61, passed away on
Thursday, November 20, 2008, in Parkview Hospital East, Fort
Wayne, IN. Betty was born on January 29, 1947, in Brethren, MI,
as the daughter of Hersel and Sarah (Hindman) Clements.
She was preceded in death by her father, Hersel; and by two
nephews, Marty Larsen and Jimmy Cannon. On June 12,
1982, in Brethren, MI, as the former Betty Clements, she married
James A. Miller. Surviving are her mother, Sarah Clements of
Manistee, MI; her husband, James; children, Keri (Chris Talbot,
fiancé) Boley of Mishawaka, Lisa K. Miller of South Bend
and Heidi (Matt) Pawelski of South Bend; two
grandchildren, Brittany and Austin Boley of Mishawaka; brothers,
Burt Clements of Grand Rapids, MI, and Jim Clements of Montana;
sisters, Roxie Sophia of Philadelphia, PA, Sue Clements of
Brethren, MI, Mary Clements of Brethren, MI, and Penny (Dale)
Cannon of Colorado; and many nieces and nephews. Betty was a
loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother. She truly enjoyed
being with her dogs and spending as much time as possible with
her family. She worked for Product Action in Mishawaka as an
inspector.
Family and friends may call on Monday, November 24, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday, Nov. 25, at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Mark Zerkel officiating. Memorial contributions may be made in Betty's name to the Humane Society of St. Joseph County, 2506 Grape Road, Mishawaka, IN 46545.
