Mrs. Edward Rose Mikula.

Mrs. Edward Rose Mikula, 1430 N. Fremont St., died at 9:20 a.m. Thursday in her residence after a six months illness.  She was born in Mishawaka and had lived in this community all her life.  She was married to Edward Mikula Jan. 14, 1948, in South Bend.  Surviving besides her husband are her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Horvath of Mishawaka; a son, Charles J. Swanson; two sisters, Mrs. Vera Gorsage and Mrs. Mary Lochmondy, all of South Bend; a step-sister, Mrs. Mary Pesta of South Bend, and a step-brother, John Horvath of Cleveland, O.  Friends may call after 7 p.m. Saturday in the St. Joseph Funeral Home.  Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Holy Trinity Episcopal Church with Rev. James Halfhill, rector, officiating.  Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.

MIKULA - Pallbearers for Mrs. Helen Mikula, of 1430 N. Fremont St., who died Thursday, will be John and Louis Balka, Louis Meykel, Louis Nemeth, Clement Wald, and Casimir Hartwick.  The rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Sunday in the St. Joseph Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in the Holy Trinity Episcopal Church.  Burial will be in Highland Cemetry.

 

Note:  Mrs. Edward Mikula went by her middle name, Rose; her first name is Helen.
