Joseph Mikesell.
Joseph Mikesell died at his home in
Warren township on Friday, Sept. 24, after a lingering illness, the result of
an attack of grip several years ago. Mr. Mikesell was 50 years of age and
a native of Warren township, his father, Hiram Mikesell, being one of the early
settlers of that township. He was a good farmer and a man very much
respected by all who knew him. He leaves a wife and four children,
besides his father, one brother, Marion Mikesell, and three sisters, Mrs. Hay,
Mrs. Hollingshead and Mrs. Van Buskirk, all residents of this county. The
funeral took place Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from Monson chapel and was
largely attended. The interment was in Mt. Pleasant cemetery.
