Cletus W. Michels

Independence – Cletus W. Michels, 66, a 30-year resident here, died Saturday at his home in Mazourka Canyon.

Mr. Michels was born March 19, 1923.

He was a machinist for 20 years and had worked for General Controls in the Los Angeles area.

Mr. Michels was the husband of Mary Michels of Independence and father of Bruce Michels and Billie Jo Michels of Lone Pine. Also surving are his sister Catherine Shaffer of Indiana; 11 grnadchildren and one great-grandchild.

Private services wer held Sunday at Ownes Valley Morturay.
